Dr. Mark Reichman and his staff perform a variety of oral and facial procedures at their office in Vancouver. With over 20 years of experience and a professional staff, we will make sure all of your procedures are handled correctly and that your recovery is as quick and painless as possible.
Wisdom Teeth Removal
Many people’s wisdom teeth do not grow in properly or are impacted. The removal of wisdom teeth, or third molars, is one of the most common tooth extraction procedures.
Dental Implants
Anyone who is missing teeth and can benefit from a dental implant. Implants are secured in the jaw bone using titanium screws.
Bone Grafts
Bone grafts may be required when performing dental implant surgeries. Bone grafting in the oral cavity today is a routine, predictable and painless procedure.
Othognathic / Jaw Surgery
Orthognathic or corrective jaw surgery is performed by Dr. Mark Reichman, our oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Surgery is performed to correct a wide range of skeletal and dental irregularities, including the misalignment of jaws and teeth.
Biopsy
A biopsy is a medical procedure that involves taking a small sample of tissue so that it can be examined under a microscope. This is a quick and relatively painless procedure.
Cyst removal
Cysts are closed sac-like or capsule structures that may be filled with semisolid material, gaseous material, or liquid. Although some cysts do not require treatment, some may require needle aspiration or surgical removal.
Facial Cosmetic Surgery
Facial cosmetic surgery is surgery performed to enhance visual appearance of the facial structures and features. Many facial cosmetic procedures are minimally invasive and are performed using local and/or intravenous anesthesia.
Cleft Lip / Palate
Dr. Mark Reichman is the only active Oral and Maxilofacial surgeon on the Cleft Lip and Palate team at BC Childrens Hospital and he performs surgeries to correct congenital facial deformities of children born with facial deformities and syndromes.

I had such a positive experience with Dr. Reichman and his team! I was nervous about getting mine removed (4 in total, bottom two were impacted and completely horizontal) but they put me under, and I woke up 20 minutes later feeling like I just had a nap. The healing took 4-5 days to be back to chewing normal but that isn’t out of the ordinary. Everything healed well and they made a follow up call to see how I was doing. I will recommend Dr. Reichman to any one I care about.
